The Rites of Passage is a program for boys between 4th and 7th grades. The program covers life skills and conflict management over a 20 week period of discussions and activities. What makes the Rites of Passage at Plymouth unique are the activities for the youth. The activities are designed to get the males out of the inner city and into the wilderness. Over the 20 weeks the youth take trips fishing, camping, skeet shooting, and before graduation deer hunting. In tandem with the trips the youth learn skills to navigate life, and strategies to deal with conflict in their life.

Rites of Passage Discussions take place Sundays 2-3:30 at 822 South 15th Street. Only 10 youth are selected at a time to be part of the program.
